ホワイト・ストライプスがBBCセッション集『Peel Sessions』をオフィシャルリリース

ホワイト・ストライプス（White Stripes）がBBCセッション音源アルバム『Peel Sessions』をオフィシャル・リリース。2001年に英BBC Radioの名物DJであったジョン・ピールの番組のために行った2つのスタジオ・セッションの音源を収めた作品。これまでブートレグとして出回っていましたが、15周年を記念してオフィシャル・アイテムとしてジャック・ホワイト主宰のThird Man Recordsから発売されます。限定カラー・ヴァイナル仕様のアナログ・レコード2枚組がレコードストアデイ・アイテムとして4月16日に海外の一部店舗で発売される予定。また通常のアナログ・レコード版が今年遅くに発売される予定です。



なお、Third Man Recordsでは同じくレコードストアデイ・アイテムとしてジャック・ホワイトが米TV番組『ザ・マペッツ（The Muppets）』のためにレコーディングしたスティーヴィー・ワンダー（Stevie Wonder）のカヴァー「You Are the Sunshine of My Life」の限定7インチ・シングルも発売します
