XTCの5.1ミックス・リイシュー・シリーズ第2弾　『Drums & Wires』の発売は10月

XTCの5.1サラウンド・ミックスを特色としたリイシュー・シリーズの第2弾として79年作『Drums & Wires』のCD＋DVD-AおよびCD＋Blu-rayが海外で10月27日発売。

2013年に発売された『Nonsuch』に続くシリーズ第2弾。ミックスはポーキュパイン・トゥリー（Porcupine Tree）のスティーヴン・ウィルソン（Steven Wilson）が手がけています。

CDにはウィルソンによるオリジナル収録曲のステレオ・ミックス、そしてシングルやアルバム未収録曲の6曲がボーナス・トラックとして収められます。

DVD-AおよびBlu-rayにはオリジナル収録曲の5.1サラウンド・ミックス、ウィルソンによるステレオ・ミックス、オリジナル・アルバム・ミックスのハイレゾ・ステレオ音源を収録。さらにDVD-Aには7曲のボーナス・ステレオ・トラックが、Blu-rayには、多数のステレオ＆5.1トラックや、アルバムのニュー・ステレオ・インスト・ミックス、デモ・セッション、プロモ・フィルムも収められます
