クインシー・ジョーンズ（Quincy Jones）のキャリア初期作品を包括した、廉価CD4枚組ボックスセットが2タイトル同日発売。海外で2月11日発売予定。いずれもABC、マーキュリーなどでのリーダー作ほか、編曲・プロデュース・指揮で参加した関連作も収録。

対象となるのは

●『Complete Recordings: 1955-59』

1955〜59年のレコーディングより、ABCパラマウント、マーキュリーに残したリーダー・アルバム『This Is How I Feel About Jazz』、『Go West, Man!』、『The Birth of a Band!』、『The Great Wide World of Quincy Jones』、さらには、スウェーデンにおけるセッション盤『スウェーディッシュ-アメリカン・オールスターズ』、アート・ファーマー、ハリー・アーノルドのリーダー・セッション盤を収録。

●『Complete Recordings: 1960-62』

1960〜62年のレコーディングより、マーキュリーに残したリーダー・アルバム『I Dig Dancers』、『Around the World』、『Newport '61』、『The Great Wide World of Quincy Jones： Live』、ポピュラーヒット「Soul Bossa Nova」を収録した『Big Band Bossa Nova』、インパルス録音の『The Quintessence』、さらには、ビリー・エクスタインとのライヴ盤『At Basin Street East』、サラ・ヴォーン『You're Mine You』を収録。
