ザ・フー、ビートルズ「I Saw Her Standing There」の未発表カヴァー音源公開　

ザ・フー（The Who）が1978年に発表したスタジオ・アルバムで、キース・ムーン（Keith Moon）が参加した最後のオリジナル・アルバム『Who Are You』。7CD＋Blu-rayのスーパー・デラックス・エディションから、ビートルズ（The Beatles）「I Saw Her Standing There」の未発表カヴァー音源「I Saw Her Standing There (2) (Shepperton Tour Rehearsal)」が公開されています。シェパートン・スタジオで当時行われたリハーサルからの未発表音源で、キース・ムーンがヴォーカルとして参加しています。



このエディションは海外で10月31日発売。

未発表音源を70曲以上追加収録。内容は以下の通り

CD1：ジョン・アストリーによってリマスターされたオリジナル・アルバム。

CD2：グリン・ジョンズが手がけ、バンドによって却下された初期ミックス、そして、スティーヴン・ウィルソン（Steven Wilson）が制作した新しいミックスを収録。ウィルソンは今回、オリジナルのマルチトラックテープから、これまで聴けなかった「Sister Disco」のギターソロを見つけ出して初めて公開しています。

CD3: 初期のリハーサル、セッション、アウトテイクに加え、ジョン・エントウィッスル（John Entwistle）によるデモを収録。

CD4: 1977年にシェパートン・スタジオで行われたリハーサルから未発表音源を収録。キース・ムーンが歌うビートルズ「I Saw Her Standing There」とビーチ・ボーイズ「Barbara Ann」のカヴァーも含まれています。また1976年のトロントでの「Who Are You」の初期ライヴ・ヴァージョンも収録。

CD5:ドキュメンタリー『The Kids Are Alright』の撮影のために英シェパートン・スタジオで行われたライヴから6曲を収録。さらに、ザ・フーの1979年アメリカツアーに向けて、新ドラマーのケニー・ジョーンズ（Kenney Jones）を迎えたリハーサルの音源も収録。

CD6-7: 新ドラマーのケニー・ジョーンズを迎えた1979年の米国ツアーのライヴ音源を新たにミックスして収録。ポンティアック・シルバードーム、フィラデルフィアのスペクトラム、デトロイトのメイソニック・テンプルで録音。

ブルーレイ: スティーヴン・ウィルソンによるドルビーアトモス・ミックス、DTS-HDマスターオーディオ5.1、ステレオミックスを収録。

このエディションには、100ページのハードカバー本も付属。今回のリイシューでは、4LPボックスセット、2CDエディション、限定カラー・ヴァイナル、ハーフ・スピード・マスター・ヴァイナルもリリースされます。
