ピーター・フランプトン『Frampton Comes Alive!』完全再現ツアーDVDから「Baby I Love Your Way」の映像が公開

ピーター・フランプトン（Peter Frampton）が『Frampton Comes Alive!』の発売35周年を記念して行ったアルバムの完全再現ツアー。その模様を収めたライヴDVD／Blu-ray『FCA! 35 Tour - An Evening With Peter Frampton（邦題：フランプトン・カムズ・アライヴ！　35周年記念〜完全再現ライヴ・アンド・モア）』から「Baby I Love Your Way」のライヴ映像が公開



本作には2012年2月18日ニューヨーク公演、同月29日ミルウォーキー公演からのテイクを収録。二部構成で、第1部では『Frampton Comes Alive!』の完全再現を、第二部ではベスト選曲のステージをそれぞれ行っています。ハンブル・パイ（Humble Pie）時代の楽曲に加え、ビートルズ（Beatles）の「While My Guitar Gently Weeps」、サウンドガーデン（Soundgarden）の「Black Hole Sun」といったカヴァー曲もあり。

DVD／Blu-rayには、本ライヴでメイン・ギターとして使用した1954年製ギブソン・レスポール・カスタムにまつわるドキュメンタリー映像も収録。このギターは1980年にギターを輸送していた飛行機がベネズエラで墜落事故を起こしたため焼失したと思われていたもの。2011年に発見され、再びピーターの手に戻ってきています。ドキュメンタリーでは“フェニックス”と名付けられたこのレスポールが辿った数奇な運命を23分にわたり描いています。

発売は国内盤が10月24日、海外で11月13日予定。
