ハンブル・パイ、ストーンズ、ディラン等　数多くの作品にコーラス参加　女性シンガーのクライディ・キングが死去

ハンブル・パイ（Humble Pie）、ローリング・ストーンズ（The Rolling Stones）、ボブ・ディラン（Bob Dylan）、スティーリー・ダン（Steely Dan）など、数多くのレコーディングにバッキング・ヴォーカルで参加したことでも知られる女性シンガー、クライディ・キング（Clydie King）が1月7日、カリフォルニア州ロサンゼルスで死去。親交のあったGold Star StudiosのFacebookページや米サイトSoulTracksが訃報を伝えています。75歳でした。

クライディ・キングはテキサス州生まれ。10代の頃より自身のグループでリードシンガーとして活躍。70年代初頭にはブラックベリーズ、その後にはブラウン・シュガーというグループを組み活躍しています。

1972年にはブラックベリーズの一員としてハンブル・パイと合流し、バッキング・ヴォーカルを提供。その後、セッション・シンガーとして数多くのレコーディングにバッキング・ヴォーカリストで参加しています。
