デヴィッド・ボウイ（David Bowie）の幻のアルバム『The Gouster』（1974年）も収められるボックスセット『Who Can I Be Now? (1974 - 1976)』。発売日が決定。海外で9月23日。リリース元はParlophone Records。

ボックスはCD版が12枚組、180グラム重量盤アナログレコード版が13枚組。収められるのは

で、未発表アルバムの『The Gouster』のほか、『Diamond Dogs』『Young Americans』『Station to Station』『David Live』のリマスター盤、ライヴ盤『Live Nassau Coliseum ’76』、今回が初CD／LP化となる『Station to Station』のHarry Maslin 2010 mix（2010年に『Station to Station』デラックスボックスセットのDVD-Aに収録）、初出の『David Live (original mix) 』、シングル・ヴァージョンやアルバム未収録のB面曲を収めたコレクション盤『Re:Call 2』といった内容です。

ボックスセットにはハードカバー本（LPは84ページ、CDは128ページ）も付属。テリー・オニールやスティーヴ・シャピロほか著名カメラマンによる初出の写真や、トニー・ヴィスコンティらによるライナーノートなどが掲載されます。

CDボックスセットのCDは、オリジナル・アルバムのミニLP仕様となっており、ディスクはゴールド仕様です。

今回オフィシャル・リリースされる『The Gouster（意味：街の洒落た黒人男性）』は、最終的にアルバム『Young Americans』として1975年にリリースされた、フィーリー・ソウルの発祥地であるフィラデルフィアのシグマ・サウンド・スタジオでレコーディングされた作品。当時、フィリー・ソウルに心酔していたボウイは同スタジオでルーサー・ヴァンドロスをはじめとするスタジオ・ミュージシャンらとレコーディング・セッションを行い、アルバム一枚を作るのに十分な楽曲を制作しています。この後、ビートルズ・メンバーがプロジェクトに参加したこともあり、トラックリストが何度も入れ替えられて、最終的に別タイトルのアルバム『Young Americans』としてリリースされています。

今回リリースされる『The Gouster』は、『Young Americans』に変わる前のトラックリストで、『Young Americans』に収録されていない楽曲も収録。当時のプロデューサーであるトニー・ヴィスコンティの監督のもとでオリジナル・テープからマスタリングを行っています。またアルバム・カヴァーは今回のボックスセットのために制作されたヴァージョンで、未発表写真を用いています。

ボックスセット『Who Can I Be Now? (1974 - 1976)』は、2015年に発売されたボックスセット『Five Years (1969 - 1973)』の続編です
