ダイナソーJr.（Dinosaur Jr.）のJ・マスシス（J. Mascis）のサイド・プロジェクト・バンド、スウィート・アップル（Sweet Apple）。「A Girl and a Gun (ft. Rachel Haden)」のミュージックビデオを公開。この曲は今年発売のアルバム『Sing the Night in Sorrow』に収録

スウィート・アップルはJ・マスシスが、Tim Parnin（Cobra Verde、Chuck Mosley）、John Petkovic（Cobra Verde、Death of Samantha、Guided By Voices）、Dave Sweetapple（Witch）と組んでいるバンド。

このアルバムは海外で7月28日発売。リリース元はTee Pee Records。スタジオ・アルバムのリリースは2014年の『The Golden Age of Glitter』以来。

新作にはMark Lanegan（Screaming Trees, QOTSA）、Robert Pollard（Guided By Voices）、Rachel Haden（Haden Triplets）、Doug Gillard（Guided By Voices, Nada Surf）が参加しています。
