ザ・スリッツのドキュメンタリー映画『Here to be Heard: The Story of The Slits』　DVDリリース決定

ザ・スリッツ（The Slits）のドキュメンタリー映画『Here to be Heard: The Story of The Slits』。クラウドファンディングサイトのPledgeMusicにてキャンペーンが実施されており、2018年春にリリースが予定されている映画のDVD版や記念グッズなどが用意されています。

映画は、1976年のバンド誕生から、中心人物であったアリ・アップ（Ari Up）が亡くなる2010年までのバンドの物語を、関係者のインタビューやアーカイブ映像／写真などで振り返った作品。監督はWilliam E. Badgley。

映像には、

Viv Albertine, Ari Up, Palmolive, Tessa Pollitt, Neneh Cherry, Don Letts, Budgie, Bruce Smith, Gina Birch, Paul Cook, Hollie Cook, Viv Goldmanほか

が出演。2017年10月に開催された＜ロンドン映画祭＞でプレミア上映され、2018年初めに劇場公開、そして2018年春にDVDリリースが予定されています。
