フランク・ザッパ（Frank Zappa）が1977年10月28日から同月31日にかけてニューヨークのコンサートホール／ナイトクラブ「パラディウム」で計6公演を行ったハロウィン・コンサート。この6公演を全て収めたボックスセット『Halloween 77』のリリースとハロウィンを記念したミニ・アニメーション映像が公開されています

ボックスは、2016年にオリジナル・マスターからミックスされた6公演分のライヴ音源全158曲（24-bit WAV audio）を収めたスナックバー型USBメモリーに加えて、レトロなザッパ・ハロウィン・マスク＆コスチュームも付属。USBメモリーには32ページのデジタル・フォト・ブックレット（息子アーメット・ザッパほかのライナーノーツ含む）も収録されています。

『Halloween 77』はCD3枚組版も発売。ハロウィン当日の10月31日に行われたコンサートのフルセット・ライヴ音源と、前日30日のコンサートからセレクトされたライヴ音源が収録されます。
