デペッシュ・モード、イレイジャー、ダフト・パンク、ソウル II ソウル、ウィリアム・オービットらのリミックス・トラックを計24曲収めたコンピ・アルバム『Electrospective - The Remix Album』が英EMIから発売。

アルバムには先述のほかヤズー、ヘヴン17、O.M.D、マルコム・マクラーレン、ネナ・チェリー、トーク・トーク、エヴリシング・バット・ザ・ガール、テレックス、シンプル・マインズ、ヒューマン・リーグ、ゴールドフラップらのリミックスを収録。発売は海外で8月27日。

本作はEMIが展開する『Electrospective』シリーズの第2弾アルバム。50年代後期から現在までエレクトロニック・ミュージックの歴史を回顧するシリーズで、代表曲を集めた第1弾『Electrospective』が7月に発売されています。
