ヴァンゲリスが音楽担当、舞台版『炎のランナー』のサントラが発売

ヴァンゲリス（Vangelis）が音楽担当。ロンドン五輪にあわせ、ロンドンで今年5〜6月に上演された舞台版『炎のランナー（原題：Chariots Of Fire）』。本作のために制作された音楽を収めたサウンドトラック・アルバムが発売に。

本作『Chariots of Fire-Music from the Stage Show』は全15曲入り。2曲のみ、81年の映画版サントラに収録されていた音源で、他はすべて新録音源。有名なテーマ曲「Chariots of Fire」は2012年新録ヴァージョンを収めており、また他の新録楽曲はすべてヴァンゲリスが本舞台版のために書き下ろした新曲です。

発売は米国で8月3日、英国で7月23日。
