ブラック・サバス（Black Sabbath）が、展開すると十字架の形になる4枚組のアナログ・レコード『The Ultimate Collection』を海外で11月18日発売。リリース元はBMG。

アルバム名にもあるように代表曲／人気曲を全31曲収めたベスト・アルバムで、収録音源はすべて、著名なエンジニアであるアンディ・ピアースによってリマスタリングされています。

この作品は“crucifold”と呼ばれる十字架パッケージの限定アナログレコード版に加えて、2CD版とデジタル版が10月28日（海外）に先行リリースされます。
