このトリビュート・アルバムは、ザ・ナショナル（The National）のデスナー兄弟が企画。

ウィルコ（Wilco）、フレーミング・リップス（The Flaming Lips）、スティーヴン・マルクマス（Stephen Malkmus）、マムフォード＆サンズ（Mumford and Sons）、ボン・イヴェール（Bon Iver）のジャスティン・ヴァーノン（Justin Vernon）、マイ・モーニング・ジャケット（My Morning Jacket）のジム・ジェイムズ（Jim James）、TV On The Radioのトゥンデ・アデビンペ（Tunde Adebimpe）らが参加しています。

完成まで4年もの歳月を費やした本作には、トータル6時間近くという全59曲をCD5枚に収録しています。

発売は日本で6月15日、海外で5月20日。リリース元は海外は4AD Records、日本はHostess。海外では限定アナログ・レコード・ボックスセットやデジタル配信も予定されています。また日本では日本独自企画盤としてTシャツ付きエディションが完全生産限定盤として発売されます。
