A Very Happy New Year to everyone As promised here’s a song from Dr Roberts forthcoming solo album “Out There” called “The Mirrored Lake”..“Its a song about finding a place of peace amongst the madness. I found out that Elvis was in the habit of visiting The Lake Shrine in LA during the late sixties and early seventies..a time when he’d started making great music again despite the pressure put on him by The Colonel ( Tom Parker) I found it both uplifting and sad. There was ‘the King” searching for enlightenment in the heart of Sunset Boulevard . Im a sucker for Elvis and couldn’t resist it..but its not just about him either..its the modern malaise ..how to escape the ‘machine” .
