マイク・オールドフィールド　『Discovery』2CD＋DVDデラックスエディションと『The Killing Fields』サントラ・リマスター盤が日本でも発売に

マイク・オールドフィールド（Mike Oldfield）の1984年作『Discovery』の2CD＋DVDデラックスエディションと、マイクが音楽を手がけた映画『The Killing Fields』サウンドトラック・アルバムのリマスター盤が日本でも発売に。日本盤のみSHM-CD及び紙ジャケット仕様で2016年2月24日に発売されます。海外盤は2016年1月29日

『Discovery』のデラックスエディションには以下を収録

☆CD1：オリジナル収録曲にシングル曲をボーナストラックとして追加

☆CD2：「The 1984 Suite」と名付けられた今回のために制作された37分間の組曲を収録。『Discovery』『The Killing Fields』のトラックを新たに編集した音源や、「Poison Arrows」に新たなヴォイスを加えた「Zombies (Halloween Special)」と呼ばれる別ヴァージョン、そしてレア音源などで構成。

☆DVD：オリジナル収録曲の5.1サラウンド・サウンド・ミックスやステレオ・ミックス（ミックスはマイク自身）、プロモーションビデオ、CDにも収録される組曲「The 1984 Suite」を収録

ブックレットにはマイクの最新インタビュ－も掲載されます。

海外では『Discovery』はこのデラックスエディションに加え、リマスター音源を採用した1CD版、180グラム重量盤アナログレコードも同日に発売。また『The Killing Fields』のサウンドトラック・アルバムもリマスター音源を採用した180グラム重量盤アナログレコードが発売されます。

また海外では『Discovery』のデラックスエディションに収録されるボーナスCD『The 1984 Suite』が単品版のアナログ・レコードとしても発売されます。
