セイント・エティエンヌのサラ・クラックネルが新曲「On The Swings」を公開

ロンドンのポップ・トリオ、セイント・エティエンヌ（Saint Etienne）のシンガー、サラ・クラックネル（Sarah Cracknell）が新曲「On The Swings」を公開。試聴可。この曲は8年ぶりにリリースする新ソロ・アルバム『Red Kite』に収録。発売は海外で6月15日。リリース元はCherry Red。



ソロ・アルバムの発表は97年の『Lipslide』以来。プロデュースはCarwyn Ellis (Colorama, Edwyn Collins)とSeb Lewsley (Edwyn Collins)。またレコーディングにはマニック・ストリート・プリーチャーズ（Manic Street Preachers）のニッキー・ワイアー（Nicky Wire）やThe Railsが参加しています。

プレスリリースによれば、サラはこの作品に影響を与えたアーティストとして、マリアンヌ・フェイスフルやエンニオ・モリコーネ、ビーチ・ボーイズ、フェルトなどを挙げています。
