スザンヌ・ヴェガ（Suzanne Vega）のセルフ・カヴァー・シリーズ『Close-Up』。既発の4タイトルにボーナスCD＆DVDを付属した5CD＋DVDボックス・セット『Close-Up Series』が海外で5月5日発売。

本シリーズは年代順ではなく毎回テーマごとに楽曲をセレクトし、新たな解釈のもとで再レコーディングしています。

これまでに単独作品として発売された4タイトルに、各タイトルのDL版などにボーナス・トラックとして追加されていた楽曲を集めた編集盤CD、そしてニューヨークで行われた＜Close-Up Live＞のライヴ映像（リハーサルや楽屋インタビューなども含む）のDVDを付属しています。

本作はハードカバー本仕様で、写真や歌詞などを掲載した68ページのブックレットも付いてきます
