ドイツのプロデューサー・ユニット、モードセレクター（Modeselektor）が企画する好評コンピーション・シリーズ『Modeselektion』。第3弾として『Modeselektion Vol. 3』が海外で6月27日発売。

今回はCD2枚に全19曲を収録。フェネス（Fennesz）、マーク・E・スミス率いるザ・フォール（The Fall）、To Rococo Rot、Illum Sphere、L-Vis 1990、French Friesらの初出トラックなどを収録。モードセレクターも、シリアのミュージシャン、オマー・スリマン（Omar Souleyman）のリミックスを提供しています
