ノーマン・ブレイク（ティーンエイジ・ファンクラブ）＋ジョー・パーニス（パーニス・ブラザーズ）のThe New Mendicants、新曲3曲が試聴可

ティーンエイジ・ファンクラブ（Teenage Fanclub）のノーマン・ブレイク（Norman Blake）と、パーニス・ブラザーズ（Pernice Brothers）のジョー・パーニス（Joe Pernice）のユニット、ザ・ニュー・メンディカンツ（The New Mendicants）。新曲「A Very Sorry Christmas」「Sarasota」「If You Only Knew Her」が試聴可。これら曲は初のフル・アルバムとなる『Into The Lime』に収録。発売は英国で2014年1月27日、日本で1月22日。

2人は2000年にお互いのバンドで共演したことをきっかけに親交を深めており、現在はともにカナダのトロントで暮らしているとのこと。今回のアルバムには地元のバンド、ザ・サディーズ（The Sadies）のマイク・ベリッツキーがドラムとして参加。9曲のオリジナル曲に加えて、サンディ・デニー（Sandy Denny）「By The Time It Gets Dark」のカヴァーも収録されます。
