スタイル・カウンシル『Café Bleu』スペシャルエディションから「Take It To The Top (Demo)」公開

スタイル・カウンシル（The Style Council）が1984年にリリースしたデビュー・アルバム『Café Bleu』。6CDスペシャル・エディションから「Take It To The Top (Demo)」が公開されています。



このエディションは2026年1月30日発売。リイシュー元はUMR / Polydor。

このエディションの各ディスクは

CD1は『Introducing… The Style Council』エクステンデッド・エディション
CD2は『Café Bleu』
CD3は当時の関連シングル、Bサイド曲、リミックス、デモ音源
CD4は未発表デモ音源、アウトテイク、別ヴァージョン
CD5とCD6はBBCセッション＆ライヴ・パフォーマンス音源

をそれぞれ収録。

CD4の内容は、「Long Hot Summer」の初期デモ音源（1982年8月録音）、レスポンド・アーティストのトレイシー・ヤングのために書かれた「Boy Hairdresser」、「The Paris Match」のロング・ヴァージョン（6分31秒）、初期ヴァージョン「Summertime Song」などで、さらにミック・タルボットによる未発表インストゥルメンタル曲（ジャズ調の「Party Chambers」と「Mick's Demo」含み）も収録されます。

CD5とCD6のライヴ音源には、チッペンハムのゴールド・ディガーズとロンドンのドミニオンシアターで行われたBBC『Sight & Sound In Concert』のパフォーマンスも含まれます。

また、ゲイリー・クロウリーによる新たなライナーノーツ含むブックレットも付属されます。
