ザ・キュアーの新コンサート映画『The Cure: The Show Of A Lost World』　12月に全世界の映画館で上映

ザ・キュアー（The Cure）の新しいコンサート映画『The Cure: The Show Of A Lost World』が、12月11日より全世界の映画館にて期間限定で上映されます。

ザ・キュアーは16年ぶりのスタジオ・アルバム『Songs of a Lost World』をリリースした日、2024年11月1日の夜に英ロンドンのトロキシーで発売記念コンサートを行いました。ザ・キュアーは3,000人のファンの前で、このアルバムの初めてかつ唯一となる全曲演奏を披露しました。

本作には、この発売記念コンサートの模様をフル収録。当日披露した全31曲を再編集・リミックスし、4Kリマスターした映像作品です。グラミー賞にノミネートされたニック・ウィッカム（過去にリアーナ、マドンナと仕事をした）が監督し、ザ・キュアーのロバート・スミス（Robert Smith）自らが新しいサラウンド・サウンド・ミックスを手がけています。

披露された31曲の中には、『Songs of a Lost World』全曲に加え、『Seventeen Seconds』から45周年記念として5曲も演奏しています。ほか、「A Night Like This」「From the Edge of the Deep Green Sea」「Disintegration」「Play for Today」「The Walk」なども。

『The Cure: The Show Of A Lost World』は上映イベントに続き、2025年12月下旬には海外でBlu-rayとDVDがリリースされる予定です。
