ジェネシス『The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway』50周年記念エディションから「Fly on a Windshield」の2025リマスター版公開

ジェネシス（Genesis）の作品の中で、ピーター・ガブリエル（Peter Gabriel）がヴォーカルを務めた最後のスタジオ・アルバム『The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway（邦題：眩惑のブロードウェイ）』（1974年）。50周年を記念したスーパー・デラックス・エディションから「Fly on a Windshield」の2025リマスター・ヴァージョンが先行公開されています。



このエディションは海外で9月26日発売。

ピーター・ガブリエル（Peter Gabriel）とトニー・バンクス（Tony Banks）は、ボブ・マッケンジーと共に、Real World Studiosで本作のドルビー・アトモス・ミックスを監修しました。その様子を撮影した写真がSNSで公開されています。

スーパー・デラックス・エディションは、4CD＋Blu-ray版と5LP＋Blu-ray版があります。

内容は

●1974年のアナログテープを基にマイルス・ショーウェルがアビー・ロード・スタジオでリマスターしたオリジナル・アルバム。

●Blu-ray audio discには、スタジオアルバムの96kHz/24ビット・ハイレゾ・オーディオと、Real World Studiosでピーター・ガブリエルとトニー・バンクスの監修の下で制作された『The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway』のDolby ATMOSミックスを収録。

●1975年1月24日に米カリフォルニア州ロサンゼルスにあるシュライン・オーディトリアムで行われたコンサート『The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway Live At The Shrine Auditorium』のフル音源を収めたライヴ完全版。この公演の音源の大半は、1998年のボックスセット『Genesis Archive 1967-75』にも収録されていますが、アンコールの「Watcher of the Skies」と「The Musical Box」は含まれておらず、今回は、アンコールの未発表曲2曲を含む完全版でリマスター・ヴァージョンを収録。

●Headley Grangeセッションからの未発表デモ3曲と、新リマスターの96kHz/24 bitハイレゾ音源を収録したダウンロードカードも付属。

●1975年のツアープログラムのレプリカ、レプリカ・チケット、ポスター、そしてジェネシスのメンバー5人全員の新しいインタビューや貴重な画像、アレクシス・ペトリディスによる新たなライナーノーツが掲載された60ページの豪華本も付属。
