デペッシュ・モード　『Spirit』の12インチシングルボックスセット発売　未発表音源も

デペッシュ・モード（Depeche Mode）の全シングルを12インチ・シングル・レコード化してスタジオ・アルバム毎にまとめたボックスセット・シリーズ『The 12" Singles』。新たに、2017年アルバム『Spirit』のボックスセットが海外で9月20日に発売されます。リリース元はSony Music Entertainment。

『The 12" Singles』シリーズの各ボックスセットには、オリジナル・マスターテープからリマスターされた音源を収めた12インチ・シングルレコードを複数枚収録。各シングルにはオリジナルのカヴァーアートワークが描かれており、ボックスのアートワークには、各アルバムのオリジナル・アートワークにインスパイアされたストリートアート風のイラストが採用されています。

今回のボックスセット『Spirit | The 12" Singles』は7枚組。「Where's The Revolution」「Going Backwards」「Cover Me」の12インチ・シングル各2枚に加え、未発表音源含んだボーナス・ディスク「The Highline Sessions」もあります。

ボーナス・ディスクには、2016年8月3日にニューヨークでライヴ録音されたハイライン・セッションズのフル音源を収めており、デヴィッド・ボウイ「Heroes」のカヴァー、そして「So Much Love」と「Poison Heart」という2曲の未発表パフォーマンス音源も収録されています。
