クリーム（Cream）での活躍でも知られるジャック・ブルース（Jack Bruce）。ラジオやテレビのために行ったセッションの模様を未放送分も含めて収めたボックスセット『Smiles And Grins, Broadcast Sessions 1970-2001』がストリーミング配信開始。全42曲がYouTubeほかで聴けます。







ボックスセットのフィジカル版はCD4枚＋Blu-ray2枚仕様。海外で3月29日発売。リリース元はEsoteric。

1970年から2001年の間にジャックがBBCのラジオとテレビで披露した現存するすべてのパフォーマンスを収録。

さらに、トニー・ウィリアムス（Tony Williams）がジャック・ブルース、ジョン・マクラフリン（John McLaughlin）、ラリー・ヤング（Larry Young）と結成したグループ、トニー・ウィリアムス・ライフタイム（The Tony Williams Lifetime）が、アルバム『Turn it Over』（1970年）の頃にドイツのテレビ番組『Beat Club』のために行ったセッションの模様も収録。これはこれまで一度も放送されたことがないものだという。

すべてオリジナル・マスターテープから新たにリマスタリングおよびレストアされています。マルチリージョン・ブルーレイ仕様。エッセイ付きイラストブック付き。
