トラフィックのジム・キャパルディ　後期スタジオ・アルバム2作＋デモ＆未発表ライヴ音源ほか収録の4CDリマスター発売

トラフィック（Traffic）のドラマーとして活躍したジム・キャパルディ（Jim Capaldi）。彼の後期音源を未発表なものを含めて収めたCD4枚組リマスター・ボックスセット『The Outside Years』が海外で2024年1月26日発売。リリース元はEsoteric／Cherry Red Records。

ボックスには、キャパルディが遺した最後のスタジオ・アルバム2枚、2001年の『Living on the Outside』と2004年の『Poor Boy Blue』をリマスター収録。さらにキャパルディの個人的なアーカイヴから選ばれた1993年から2004年にかけてのデモ音源、スタジオ・アウトテイク、未発表ライヴ音源などボーナストラック35曲も収録されます。

アルバム『Living on the Outside』にはジョージ・ハリスン（George Harrison）、スティーヴ・ウィンウッド、ポール・ウェラー、イアン・ペイス、ゲイリー・ムーアなどが参加しています。

ボーナストラックのデモ音源の中には、ジョージ・ハリスンをフィーチャーした「Love's Got a Hold On Me」もあります。また1999年6月に米フィラデルフィアで行われたソロ・アコースティック・パフォーマンスのハイライトをはじめ、さまざまなライヴ録音も収録されます、最後のCD4は2002年5月にドイツ・ケルンのミュージック・ホールで録音されたライヴ・アルバムです。
