ファン・ボーイ・スリー　5CD＋DVDコンプリートボックスセット発売

テリー・ホール（Terry Hall）がザ・スペシャルズ（The Specials）のバンドメイトと共に結成したファン・ボーイ・スリー（Fun Boy Three）。その活動を網羅したコンプリート・ボックスセット『The Complete Fun Boy Three』が海外で8月4日発売。リリース元はChrysalis。

1981年夏、テリー・ホール、リンヴァル・ゴールディング（Lynval Golding）、ネヴィル・ステイプル（Neville Staple）がザ・スペシャルズから脱退し、ファン・ボーイ・スリーを結成。その後、7枚の全英トップ20ヒットシングル（2枚はバナナラマと共演）を出し、2枚のスタジオ・アルバム、『The Fun Boy Three』（1982年）、『Waiting』（1983年／デヴィッド・バーン・プロデュース）を発表しました。1983年にバンドは解散しています。

『The Complete Fun Boy Three』はCD5枚＋DVDの6枚組。

CD5枚には全69曲を収録。すべての公式録音（アルバム／シングル／Bサイド／リミックス／ライヴ／未発表のアウトテイク）がまとめられています。

DVD（リージョン0 /NTSC）には全27曲を収録。すべてのプロモビデオ、英TV番組『Top of The Pops』のパフォーマンス、1983年のライヴ・コンサートが含まれています。

DVDサイズのハードカバーブックに収められており、ジョン・アールズ（クラシック・ポップ/レコード・コレクター）による書き下ろしのライナーノーツ、バンドからの寄稿、写真が掲載されています。

同日には、2枚のスタジオ・アルバムがアナログレコードで再発されます。いずれもカラーヴァイナル仕様で、それぞれ赤と青のレコードでプレスされています。
