ドラムンベースのベテラン、ゴールディー（Goldie）。20年間の軌跡を詰め込んだベスト・アルバム『The Alchemist: The Best Of Goldie 1992-2012』が海外で3月11日発売。

本作はCD3枚組で、初出の新曲「Single Petal Of A Rose」を含んだベスト・セレクション・ディスク2枚に、リミックス・ディスクを付属。リミックス・ディスクにはゴールディー楽曲のリミックス音源のほか、ゴールディーによるリミックス・ワークも収めます
