ロキシー・ミュージック（Roxy Music）のフィル・マンザネラ（Phil Manzanera）と、スプリット・エンズ（Split Enz）のティム・フィン（Tim Finn）による新しいコラボレーション・アルバム『The Ghost of Santiago』が海外で7月29日発売。リリース元はExpression Records。

2人のコラボレーション作品は、2021年にリリースしたEP『Caught By The Heart』に続くものです。

新作には2人が共作した10曲の新曲を収録。このアルバムは、前作と同様、ロックダウン中に構想されました。12,000マイル離れたホームスタジオで仕事をしながら、フィンとマンザネラは共同で20曲以上の新曲を書き、パンデミックによる制限のある生活の中で、時間と空間を見つけ、芸術的創造力を発揮しています。

2人は最終的なゴールは見ず、ただ2人の旧友が一緒に音楽を作るという純粋な喜びを味わいながら制作を進めました。アルバムにはロック、ポップス、プログレ、ラテン、クラシック、室内オーケストラ系など、さまざまなスタイルの曲が収録されています。
