イアン・デューリー（Ian Dury）が2000年に亡くなった後も活動を続けるザ・ブロックヘッズ（The Blockheads）でフロントマンを務めるヴォーカリストのデレク・ハッセー（Derek "the Draw" Hussey）が死去。バンドのSNSで明らかにされています。

「ザ・ブロックヘッズは、友人でありシンガーでありバンドメンバーでもあるデレク・ハッセが昨夜、睡眠中に亡くなりましたことを大変残念に思います。

私たちは皆、ショックを受け、このニュースをまだ処理しているところです。

デレク・ハッセーはイアン・デューリーの友人で、デューリが亡くなった後のアルバム（2004年『Where's the Party?』ほか）やライヴでフロントマンを務めました

With great sadness, The Blockheads must announce the passing of their friend, singer, and bandmate Derek Hussey, who died in his sleep last night.
