ヴァン・ダー・グラーフ・ジェネレーター　20枚組ボックスセットから「Wondering」の未公開パフォーマンス映像公開

ヴァン・ダー・グラーフ・ジェネレーター（Van Der Graaf Generator／VDGG）は20枚組みのボックスセット『The Charisma Years』から、1976年のレコード会社のプロモーション・フィルムに収録されていた「Wondering」の未公開パフォーマンス映像を公開しています。



ボックスセットは海外で9月3日発売。CD17枚とBlu-ray3枚で、バンドがカリスマ・レコード（Charisma Records）のために作った全録音作品が網羅されており、未発表の音源や映像も含まれています。

スタジオ・アルバム8タイトルは第1世代のマスターテープから新たにリマスターされています。また、アルバム『H to He Who Am the Only One』『Pawn Hearts』『Godbluff』『Still Life』の4タイトルは、オリジナルのマルチ・トラックテープから新たにステファン・W・テイラーによってステレオと5.1チャンネル・サラウンドの両方でミックスされています。この4枚のアルバムは、オリジナル・ステレオ・ミックスと新しいミックスのステレオ版と5.1版を収めた3枚組のセットとして単品版も発売される予定です。

ボックスには、1976年12月にフランスのラジオ局によって録音され、最近になって発見されたパリ公演の未発表ライヴ音源の全曲や、バンドが録音した現存するすべてのBBCセッションを収めたCDも含まれます。

さらにBlu-rayには、現存する高品質なVDGGのテレビ映像やプロモーションフィルムがすべて収録されています。また1978年6月にオーストリアで開催された＜The Kohfidisch Open Air Festival＞の模様をオーストリアのテレビ局が撮影したライヴ映像を含む20分のドキュメンタリーも収録されます。

ボックスにはさらに珍しい写真を含む68ページの本も付属されます。
