ジョニ・ミッチェル　未発表音源EP『Blue 50 (Demos & Outtakes)』公開　ボックスセットも発売決定

ジョニ・ミッチェル（Joni Mitchell）のアルバム『Blue』の50周年を記念して、ジョニ・ミッチェル・アーカイブスは、関連した2つの新しい作品をリリース。

1つ目のEP『Blue 50 (Demos & Outtakes)』は『Blue』の制作過程で生まれた5つの未発表音源を収録したもの。『Blue』セッションからデモとアウトテイクを収めています。このEPはデジタル／ストリーミングでリリース。YouTubeほかで聴けます。

『Blue 50 (Demos & Outtakes)』のジャケットには、オリジナルの『Blue』と同じ公演で撮影されたティム・コンシダインによるミッチェルの未公開写真を使用しています。

このEPは、次で紹介する今後発売されるアーカイブス・ボックスセットにも収録される予定です。

2つ目の『Joni Mitchell Archives - Vol. 2: The Reprise Years (1968-1971)』では、約6時間の未発表ホームレコーディング、スタジオレコーディング、ライヴ・レコーディングを通して、『Blue』に至るまでの期間を探ります。海外で10月29日発売。CDは5枚組、アナログレコードは10枚組で、アナログレコードはジョニ・ミッチェルの公式サイトでみ販売されます。
