英国初のソーシャルディスタンス音楽会場で初ライヴ　2500人が個別にバリケードされたスペースで鑑賞

“英国初のソーシャルディスタンス（社会的距離）音楽会場”にて初めてのコンサートが開催されています。この会場は、英国のニューカッスル競馬場のゴスフォース・パークに新たにオープンしたヴァージン・マネー・ユニティ・アリーナ。8月11日、英国のアーティストであるサム・フェンダー（Sam Fender）が同会場初の公式コンサートを開催。およそ2500人の観客が集まり、小さなグループに分かれ、個別にバリケードされた鑑賞スペースでライヴを楽しんでいます。映像・写真あり。

会場の創設は7月に発表されています。芝生の上に作られたステージで、5人まで収容できる個別にバリケードされた鑑賞スペースが2メートル間隔に全体に広がっているのが特徴です。

プレスリリースによると、コンサート参加者は受付後、その鑑賞スペースに案内され、事前に（および到着後すぐにアプリを通じて）注文した食べ物や飲み物を安全に受け取ります。トイレは一方通行のため安全に利用できます。

当日の映像や写真を見る限り、観客はルールを遵守しており、安全にスムーズにコンサートが行われたようです。

この会場では今後、ヴァン・モリソンやザ・リバティーンズなどのコンサートも行われる予定です。
