ニュー・オーダー　『Power, Corruption & Lies』のLP＋2CD＋2DVDボックスセット発売

ニュー・オーダー（New Order）は、1983年のアルバム『Power, Corruption & Lies（邦題：権力の美学）』の包括的なボックスセット（ディフィニティヴ・エディション）を海外で10月2日に発売します。

2019年に発売されたデビューアルバム『Movement』に続くボックスセット（ディフィニティヴ・エディション）の第2弾。

今回のエディションはアナログレコード1枚＋CD2枚＋DVD2枚で構成。

アナログレコードとCD1には、新たにリマスタリングされたオリジナル・アルバムを収録。

CD2には、マンチェスターのリハーサル・ルームで行われた未発表のライティング・セッション・レコーディング、1982年のBBCジョン・ピール・セッション、「Blue Monday」の未発表インストゥルメンタル・アウトテイクなどを収録。17曲中13曲が未発表音源。

DVD2枚には、当時のバンドのライヴ・コンサートやテレビ・パフォーマンスの映像を収録。さらに英Channel 4で放送されたドキュメンタリーも収録。

ボックスには、ウォーレン・ジャクソンが編集した貴重な写真とライナーノーツが掲載された48ページのハードカバー本も付属されます。

これらはピーター・サヴィル（Peter Saville）がデザインしたボックスに入っています。

同日には、アルバムに収録されなかった『Power, Corruption & Lies』時代のシングル4枚、「Blue Monday」「Confusion」「Thieves Like Us」「Murder」が単品12インチ・シングルレコードで再発されます。
