70年代のウエストコースト・ミュージック・シーンを代表するシンガーソングライター、アンドリュー・ゴールド（Andrew Gold）。1975年から1980年までのアサイラム期をフィーチャーしたCD6枚＋DVDのボックスセット『Lonely Boy: The Asylum Years Anthology』が海外で7月24日発売。リリース元はEsoteric Recordings。

ボックスには、この時代にレコーディングしたスタジオ・アルバム4タイトル、『Andrew Gold』（1975年）、『What's Wrong with This Picture?』（1976年）、『All This and Heaven Too』（1978年）、『Whirlwind』（1980年）のリマスター版に加え、アウトテイク＆未発表音源ディスク、1976年〜1977年のライヴ音源ディスク、そしてプロモーションビデオやTVパフォーマンス映像を収めたDVDが収録されます。

アウトテイク＆未発表音源ディスク（CD5）には、「Lonely Boy」のオリジナルヴァージョンや「Ten Years Behind Me」のデモ音源などを収録。

ライヴ音源ディスク（CD6）には、1977年1月6日ロサンゼルス公演の未発表ライヴ音源や、英BBCの音楽番組『The Old Grey Whistle Test』で放送されたロンドン公演のライヴ映像を収録します。
