マシュー・スウィート（Matthew Sweet）とバングルス（The Bangles）のスザンナ・ホフス（Susanna Hoffs）は、2006年から2013年にかけて60〜80年代のお気に入りの曲をカヴァーしたコラボレーション・アルバム『Under The Covers』シリーズをリリースしました。このシリーズから選ばれた30曲（初出音源含む）を集めたベスト・アルバム『The Best Of Under The Covers』がYouTube、Spotify、Apple Musicで配信開始。全曲リスニング可







アルバムは海外で3月27日、日本で4月24日に発売。リリース元は海外はEdsel、日本はMSI（ミュージック・シーン）。

海外ではカラーヴァイナル仕様の180グラム重量盤アナログレコード（180g translucent golden vinyl）も発売されます。アナログ盤は全28曲入り。

マシュー・スウィートと元バングルズのスザンナ・ホフスが愛聴した60〜80年代のヒット曲をカヴァーしたコラボレーション・アルバム『アンダー・ザ・カヴァーズ』シリーズ三作(06〜13年)からセレクトした二枚組ベスト・アルバム。「アンド・ユア・バード・キャン・シング」(ビートルズ)、「うつろな愛」(カーリー・サイモン)、「日曜の朝」(ヴェルヴェッド・アンダーグラウンド)、「マギー・メイ」(ロッド・スチュワート)、「ピース、ラヴ・アンド・アンダースタンディング」(ブリンズリー・シュウォーツ)、「ドリーミン」(ブロンディ)、「トレイン・イン・ヴェイン」(クラッシュ)、「悲しきロック・ビート」(リンダ・ロンシュタット)、「キリング・ムーン」(エコー&ザ・バニーメン)、「ダイ・フォー・ユー」(プリンス)、「シナモン・ガール」(ニール・ヤング)、「恋のマジック・アイ」(ザ・フー)、「マーキー・ムーン」(テレヴィジョン)、ヴァン・ダイク・パークスが参加した「イッツ・オール・オーヴァー・ナウ、ベイビー・ブルー」(ボブ・ディラン)、ダーニ・ハリスンが参加した「ビウェア・オブ・ダークネス」(ジョージ・ハリスン)、リンジー・バッキンガムが参加した「セカンド・ハンド・ニュース」(フリートウッド・マック)、初出音源となる「オン・ザ・ウェイ・ホーム」(バッファロー・スプリングフィールド)のプロモ・ヴァージョンなど全30曲収録。
