今年結成50年を迎えたアイルランドのベテラン・バンド、ザ・チーフタンズ（The Chieftains）。新作『Voice of Ages』から、ザ・ディセンバリスツ（The Decemberists）を迎えたボブ・ディラン（Bob Dylan）のカヴァー「When The Ship Comes In」が試聴可。またレコーディング風景を撮影した映像も公開されています。

アルバムにはこの他、パンチ・ブラザーズ、リサ・ハニガン、イメルダ・メイ、シークレット・シスターズ、ザ・ロウ・アンセム、ザ・シヴィル・ウォー、ピストル・アニーズ、キャロライナ・チョコレート・ドロップスが参加。Tボーン・バーネットと、バンドの中心人物であるパディ・モローニがプロデュースを手掛けています。発売は米国盤が2月21日に、日本盤は2月29日に予定。
