この作品の制作は、フロントマンのコンラッド・キーリーがカンボジアに5年間滞在した後、テキサスに戻り、創設メンバーの仲間であるジェイソン・リースと再会した後、2018年に始まりました。キーリーは、エンジニアのチャールズ・ゴッドフリーと共にアルバムをプロデュースしています。
