デペッシュ・モード　『Black Celebration』『Music for the Masses』の12インチシングル・ボックスセット発売

デペッシュ・モード（Depeche Mode）の全シングルを12インチ・シングルレコード化して、スタジオ・アルバム毎にまとめたボックスセット・シリーズ『The 12" Singles』。第3弾として、1986年アルバム『Black Celebration』と1987年アルバム『Music for the Masses』のボックスセットが海外で5月31日に発売されます。

各ボックスセットには、オリジナル・テープからリマスタリングされた音源を収め、アビー・ロード・スタジオでカットされた12インチ・シングルレコードを複数枚収録。各レコードのジャケット・カヴァーにはオリジナル・シングル・アートワークが描かれています。またボックスのアートワークには、各スタジオ・アルバムのオリジナル・アルバム・カヴァーから触発されたストリートアート風のイラストが描かれています。

このシリーズはこれまでに、『Speak & Spell』（1981年）と『A Broken Frame』（1982年）のボックスセットが第1弾として2018年8月に、『Construction Time Again』（1983年）と『Some Great Reward』（1984年）のボックスセットが第2弾として2018年12月に発売されています。

シリーズ第3弾は、アルバム『Black Celebration』のシングル曲を収めた『Black Celebration | The 12" Singles』と、アルバム『Music for the Masses』』のシングル曲を収めた『Music For The Masses | The 12" Singles』の2タイトル。

この『The 12" Singles』シリーズは今後数年間にわたって続けられ、同様のボックスセットが随時リリースされる予定です。
