ジャーマン・ロック・バンド、Canの未発表音源全30曲を収めたボックスセット『The Lost Tapes』。既発のCD版に続き、180グラム高音質盤LP版も発売に。LP版は5枚組。28ページのブックレット（12インチ・サイズ）付き。海外で12月3日発売

本作は、ドイツ・ヴァイラースヴィストにあるCanのスタジオで最近見つかったという30時間以上に及ぶのテープを編集。1968年から77年にかけてレコーディングされたスタジオ・セッションやライヴ、そして映画のサントラ用に制作した未発表曲など、いずれもこれまで正式にリリースされていなかった音源を収録。ヴォーカルにマルコム・ムーニー、ダモ鈴木が在籍したCan絶頂期の音源です。
