デヴィン・タウンゼンドが新アルバム『Empath』を3月発売、スティーヴ・ヴァイやチャド・クルーガーら参加

デヴィン・タウンゼンド（Devin Townsend）が新アルバム『Empath』を海外で3月29日発売。リリース元はInsideOut Music。CD版、ボーナスCD付き限定2CD版、180グラム重量盤アナログレコード2枚組＋CD＋LPブックレット版、デジタル／ストリーミング版が用意されています。

ソロ名義のスタジオ・アルバムのリリースは2014年の『Z2: Dark Matters』以来。

新作には、スティーヴ・ヴァイ（Steve Vai）、ニッケルバック（Nickelback）のチャド・クルーガー（Chad Kroeger）をはじめ数多くのゲスト・ミュージシャンが参加しています。また、フランク・ザッパ・バンドの最後のギタリストとして知られるマイク・ケネリー（Mike Keneally）が音楽ディレクターを務めています。
