ワイヤーが「French Film Blurred」の未発表デモ音源を公開

ポスト・パンクのレジェンド、ワイヤー（Wire）が「French Film Blurred」の未発表デモ音源「French Film Blurred (version 1) 」（1977年12月録音）を公開。試聴可。この音源は2ndアルバム『Chairs Missing』のデラックスエディションにボーナストラックとして追加収録されます



ワイヤーの初期スタジオ・アルバム3タイトル、1977年の1st『Pink Flag』、1978年の2nd『Chairs Missing』、1979年の3rd『154』はデラックスエディションが海外で5月18日に発売されます。日本流通盤は5月23日発売。

『Pink Flag』のみCD2枚組、他の2タイトルは3枚組。いずれにもリマスタリングされたオリジナル収録曲に加え、シングル曲、Ｂ面曲、デモ、未発表音源などが追加収録されます。またこのエディションはCDブック仕様で、メンバーのインタビュー、歌詞、レコーディングの詳細、ジャーナリストらによる寄稿、レア写真などを掲載した80ページのハードカバー本が付きます。

メンバーのコリン・ニューマンによれば、デラックスエディションには「Underwater Experiences」「No Romans」「Culture Vultures」「It's the Motive」「Stepping Off Too Quick」といった未発表曲も多数収録され、また「Pink Flag」の初レコーディング音源、アルバム未収録のシングル曲「Question of Degree」、『154』収録ヴァージョンとは異なるヴァージョンの「Indirect Enquiries」なども収められる予定です。

6月22日にはスタンダード・エディションのCDとアナログレコードも海外で発売されます。
