フリートウッド・マック、Run-DMC、シック、グロリア・エステファン他　アメリカ国家保存重要録音登録制度の新規保存作品発表

アメリカ議会図書館が文化的、歴史的、芸術的に重要な録音物を保存することを目的に行っている国家保存重要録音登録制度（National Recording Registry）。新たに保存が決定した作品が発表されています。2000年より開始された本制度には、少なくとも10年以上経った録音物を対象に、毎年25点ほどずつが選ばれています

今年度に登録されたのは、フリートウッド・マックのアルバム『Rumours』、Run-D.M.C.のアルバム『Raising Hell』、シックの「Le Freak」、グロリア・エステファン＆マイアミ・サウンド・マシーンの「Rhythm Is Gonna Get You」、ケニー・ロジャースの「The Gambler」、テンプテーションズの「My Girl」、『サウンド・オブ・ミュージック』サウンドトラック・アルバム、スティーヴ・ライヒらのアルバム『New Sounds in Electronic Music』ほか
