スマッシング・パンプキンズ『Siamese Dream』のアルバム・カヴァーに登場する女の子2人が25年ぶりに再会

スマッシング・パンプキンズ（Smashing Pumpkins）が1993年にリリースしたアルバム『Siamese Dream』。アルバム・カヴァーに登場する女の子2人が25年ぶりに再会を果たし、スマッシング・パンプキンズの公式Instagramページにて2人が抱き合う写真が公開されています。

同ページに投稿されたビリー・コーガン（Billy Corgan / William Patrick Corgan）のコメントやwikipediaによれば、2人の名前はAli Laenger（右側の女の子）とLySandra Roberts（左側の女の子）。同Instagramページでは2人の後ろ姿を撮影した写真も先日公開しています。

スマッシング・パンプキンズは先日、ビリー・コーガン、ジェームス・イハ（James Iha）、ジミー・チェンバレン（Jimmy Chamberlin）というクラシック・ラインナップの3人が再集結するリユニオン・ツアーの開催を発表しており、その特別な日にあわせてAliとLySandraも再会しています。コーガンは“AliとLySandraに感謝の意を表したい”と投稿し、2人が再会の企画に参加してくれたことに感謝しています。

なお、コーガンは2011年に、アルバム・カヴァーに登場する女の子のひとりが、当時バンドに在籍したベーシストのニコール・フィオレンティノであるとツイートしたことがありましたが、後にその情報は間違いであることが確認されています。
