ヴェルヴェット・アンダーグラウンド、1969年のロスト・アルバムも含んだ6LPボックスセットを発売

ヴェルヴェット・アンダーグラウンド（The Velvet Underground）がデビュー50周年を記念して、1969年のロスト・アルバムも含んだアナログレコード6枚組のボックスセット『The Velvet Underground』を海外で2018年2月23日発売。限定1000セット。レコードはすべて180グラム重量盤です。

ボックスには、スタジオ・アルバム4タイトル（ニコのソロ・アルバム含む）をそれぞれ収めたレコード4枚に加えて、通算4作目のスタジオ・アルバムとして計画されたアルバムに収録するため1969年にレコーディングが行われたものの、結局お蔵入りとなってしまったロスト・アルバムの音源を収めたアルバム2枚も収録。これらお蔵入り楽曲の一部は以後の作品で日の目を見ていますが、このようなアナログレコードに集められたのはこれが初。ボックスセットには、ヴィンテージ写真掲載の48ページの限定ブックレットも付属されます。
