マイルス・デイヴィスのオフィシャル・ブートレグ第6弾はジョン・コルトレーンとのファイナル・ツアーをフィーチャー

マイルス・デイヴィス（Miles Davis）の未発表音源を収録したオフィシャル・ブートレグ・シリーズの第6弾として、マイルス・デイヴィス＆ジョン・コルトレーン（John Coltrane）のアルバム『The Final Tour: The Bootleg Series Vol. 6』が海外で2018年3月23日発売。リリース元はColumbia Records／Legacy Recordings。

マイルス・デイヴィスとジョン・コルトレーンが1960年春に行ったヨーロッパ・ツアーから5公演のライヴ音源を収めたCD4枚組作品。3月21日にフランスのパリにあるOlympia Theatreで行った2公演、3月22日にスウェーデンのストックホルムにあるKoncerthusetで行った2公演、3月24日にデンマークのコペンハーゲンにあるTivoli Kosertsaで行った1公演のライヴ音源を収録します。

アルバム・タイトルにもあるように、コルトレーンはこのツアーがマイルスとの最後の演奏となりました。アルバムのラストにはコルトレーンのラジオ・インタビュー音源が収録されます。

同日には、3月24日のコペンハーゲン公演のみを収めたアナログレコード『The Final Tour: Copenhagen, March 24, 1960』も海外で発売されます。
