スティーヴ・ヴァイの新作『The Story of Light』から「John the Revelator」が試聴可

スティーヴ・ヴァイ（Steve Vai）が日本で8月15日で、米国で8月14日に発売する新作『The Story of Light』。本作から「John the Revelator」が試聴可。

本作は2005年作『Real Illusions: Reflections』に続く全3部作となるコンセプト・アルバムの第2弾作品。ヴァイの描くSF的な世界観、“世の真理を追究するマッドマン”の目線で描かれたヴァイ独特の物語性のある内容になっているとのこと。

アルバムには、エイミー・マン（Aimee Mann）とのデュエット曲「No More Amsterdam」と、TV番組『The Voice』出身のシンガーBeverly McClellanが歌う「John the Revelator」といったヴォーカル・トラック2曲、そして10曲のインストゥルメンタル・ナンバーが収録される予定。
