パブリック・イメージ・リミテッド（PiL）の『Metal Box』と『Album』が4枚組のスーパー・デラックス・ボックスセットで再発

ジョン・ライドン（John Lydon）率いるパブリック・イメージ・リミテッド（Public Image Ltd）が人気作2タイトルを4枚組のスーパー・デラックス・ボックスセットで再発。対象となるのは、1979年にリリースしたアルバム『Metal Box』と、1986年にリリースしたアルバム『Album』の2タイトル。いずれもCD4枚組とアナログレコード4枚組が用意されており、レアおよび未発表音源も収録されます。発売は海外でCD版が12月9日、アナログレコード版が12月16日。

アナログレコード版は収録時間の関係でCD版よりも収録曲が少ないものの、付属されるダウンロードカードを使ってCD版と同じ収録曲の音源を得ることができるとのこと。

『Metal Box』は、円盤状の金属ボックスでリリースされた1979年のオリジナル盤を彷彿とさせる、PiLのロゴ入り正方形の金属缶でリリースされます。

『Album』（別名：Compact Disc、Cassette）のアルバム・ジャケットにはリリースされた各フォーマットの名称（Album、Compact Disc、Cassette）が描かれていますが、このスーパー・デラックス・ボックスセットにも同様に「Album super deluxe edition」と描かれています。

いずれのボックスにも、72ページのブックレット、オリジナル・ポスター、アート・プリント（LP版のみ）、ポストカード（CD版のみ）が同梱されます。
