エリック・クラプトン（Eric Clapton）がエリック・クラプトン＆フレンズ（Eric Clapton & Friends）名義でリリースするJ.J. ケイル（J.J. Cale）のトリビュート・アルバム『The Breeze, An Appreciation of JJ Cale』。日本発売が決定。国内盤は『ザ・ブリーズ〜J．J．ケイルに捧ぐ』の邦題で7月30日発売予定。SHM-CD仕様（海外：7月29日／リリース元はクラプトンのBushbranch Records/Surfdog Records）

本作にはクラプトンのほか、トム・ペティ（Tom Petty）、マーク・ノップラー（Mark Knopfler）、ジョン・メイヤー（John Mayer）、デレク・トラックス（Derek Trucks）、ウィリー・ネルソン（Willie Nelson）らが参加。全16曲のJ.J. ケイル楽曲を取り上げています
