本作は2011年8月11日に米コロラドのRed Rocks Amphitheatreで行ったコンサートの模様を収めたもの。

また海外では同日に4CD＋DVDの限定ボックス・セット『A Perfect Circle Live: Featuring Stone and Echo』も発売されます。ボックスには、2011年8月11日に米コロラドのRed Rocks Amphitheatreで行ったコンサートのDVDとCD、2010年に行われたバンドの歴代アルバム3タイトル（『Mer de Noms』『Thirteenth Step』『Emotive』）の完全再現ライヴのCD『Trifecta』（3枚組／ボーナストラック入り）を収録。またギターピックやブックなども同梱されます。
